Dr. Wolfgang Zenker
Founder
Dr. Zenker founded Burloak Animal Clinic in 1970 and has a longstanding passion for avian and exotic medicine. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys sailing, scuba diving and travelling to exotic destinations.
Dr. Lisa McKinnon
Canine & Feline Medicine

Dr. McKinnon has been with Burloak since 2002 and has a passion for avian, reptile and exotic small mammal medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys sailing, camping, hiking and spending time with her family and pets.
Dr. Kristyn Hale

Dr. Hale joined Burloak in 2017 and has a special interest in avian and exotic medicine, nutrition, internal medicine and behaviour. She is also a Fear Free® certified veterinarian who enjoys baking, crafting and spending time at the cottage.

Dr. Jajou joined Burloak in 2021 and enjoys caring for a wide variety of species, with particular interests in behaviour, training and exotic medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys climbing, hiking and spending time with her pets.

An RVT since 2026, Raven loves exotic animals and pocket pets. She’s passionate about learning and enjoys spending time outdoors, crafting and playing with her dogs.

Natasha is passionate about animal care, especially dogs, wildlife and exotics. She enjoys expanding her veterinary knowledge, kickboxing and discovering new music.
